Gem Show Today!!

I went to the Gem Show with Catherine today,,, we shopped for some goods for our businesses,,, i got some great pearls to put on my belt buckles in a bunch of different colors,,, and Catherine of course got some awesome little baubles for her biz too!!!!! I also bought myself 2 fake Van Cleef & Arpels clover necklaces for $10 each and a bright yellow coach imitation purse,, but I like it cause I doesn't actually say Coach,, its just such a bright yellow.....then we went and had veggie sandwiches at the awesome Whole Foods near the gem show in San Mateo,, then drove home...it was a good day!!!

Hiking down to Vikingsholm Castle in Tahoe

This is a picture from a year ago,, but had to post it so you can see who I am , for those of you wondering,, I am on the very right side in the back , between the 2 women in the black shirts,,,,my good friend Catherine is taking the picture,,,it was her 50th birthday and we all celebrated with a weekend in Tahoe,,,,,it is so nice there.. i love to visit... this is after we hiked down to the Vikingsholm Castle , in Emerald Bay....

Nip Tuck is my favorite show!!!!

While this is on my mind, I must say that Nip Tuck is my favorite show ( I know you are fond of it too Lulu)....not many of my friends have even ever watched it.....well after telling all my girlfriends a few weekends ago that I loved the show,,, I was corresponding by email with my sister in law who lives in Venice California in this amazing 1920's white beach home right next to the sand in Venice,,,she told me that Nip Tuck had taken over home and was filming there all week....oh my ,, if I could I would have flown down and sat on her front steps waiting for a glimpse of something.....

This is probably one of my more favorite creations....I just love the little girl in the picture and her dog sitting next to her.... suprisingly I haven't sold it,,, maybe I should just keep it for myself I guess!!!! Jewelry for My Waist!!!!

Have you seen this belt buckle????

As you may or may not know , i have my own business of making belt buckles! Well, a friend of mine who I have met online, sent me the beautiful piece in the middle which is a magnified piece of a Paris map,,,covered in glass, and then I attached and centered it in the middle of this belt buckle and then surrounded it with pearls and a few swarovski crystals on the edges....I had it in a high end boutique here in Los Gatos, and someone STOLE IT!!!!! So if you see it around,,,,,grab the person , knock them over, and strip them of the belt and then slap them silly!!!! This is the 7th belt I have had stolen from a store... kind of a back handed compliment!!! Thanks for the middle piece anyway, Lulu!!!

Washington DC Trip

This past March we went on an amazing and fun trip to Washington DC to see all the historic monuments, my 1st time as well as my kids! This is on the front steps of the Capitol Building, of course you can see in the background all the cherry blossoms blooming ,, so pretty!!!
