Yesterday I went with my family (and unfortunately not the dogs, they are not allowed), to Moss Landing Beach,,,it's a beach just about almost to Monterey, but not quite, set into a little jetty area right near the town of Moss Landing....anyhow I took tons of pics,,, and here are a few of my favorites,,,this is definitely a surfers beach,,,there were tons there, hardly any families at all and the weather was gorgeous,, here are some pics of the surf, a closeup of a jelly fish on the beach,,,,a bird called the Sandpiper know in this area quite well,,, and some lingering footsteps in the sand.....couldn't have asked for a better day and better weather....

Wow, Nip Tuck started again last night and I have to say it was a great episode,,, I love the dark sid eof the show, the music that the scenes are set to, and the interesting and never boring story line that they use....always keeps you riveted......this is my all time favorite show,,, and an episode was actually just filmed at my sis in law's house in Venice,, that was amazing to find out.....hmmmm I wonder if any scenes with Sean where shot there......

2009 is here!!!!

Well, Happy New Year!! I started out 2009 by going on a fun shopping trip to the flea market,,,I usually can never make it the 1st Saturday because my kids have sports, but we are between sports right now so I made it. I saw my favorite jewelry lady there,, she always has amazing things at amazing prices,,,here are a few of the beauties I picked up,,,,some gorgeous francais earrings which will be dazzling on a gold belt buckle,,,another beautiful gold Sarah Coventry flower pin ( i bought this same pin on ebay a few months ago and made a buckle out of it and it sold immediately)...a couple of beautiful cameos,, a sterling flower brooch , a dazzling hummingbird enameled pin, and more....most all of these will be used on my buckle creations , a couple of the more dazzling, fragile pieces will be added to my collection on my mannequin for admiring only......time to start creating,,, as soon as it warms up,, it is COOOOLLLLLDDD here in northern california and we aren't used to this kind of weather....
